Gilchrist Connell builds NSW health law practice with senior hire
Gilchrist Connell, a leading Australian insurance sector law firm, is delighted to announce the arrival of Karine Marianne, who brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished career in health law and will lead our NSW health law practice.
Karine has worked exclusively in health law with industry leading MDOs to support their members across a range of health practice, including doctors, radiologists, dentists, pathologists, pharmacists, private hospitals, and alternative health care providers. In addition to her strengths as a litigator in civil claims and managing coronial inquests, Karine has specialist experience with Medicare PSR audits and reviews, hospital investigations, complaints to disciplinary bodies, and criminal matters.

Karine joins the firm as a Principal Lawyer and will shortly be a Principal. She is supported by a team of senior health law practitioners in NSW, ensuring clients are well serviced with any health law needs in the NSW jurisdiction and across the country in Medicare matters.
