The litigation matters he had conduct of included investigating and providing advice on birth notification claims, claims with catastrophic personal injury and claims involving multiple country hospitals and multifaceted apportionment issues. Several of these matters have been high profile, complex and involved culturally sensitive issues.

Tom has acted for various Government departments in claims under the Return to Work Act, including Section 18 disputes, successfully negotiating redemption agreements and lump sum payments, and Section 66 recoveries.

Tom prides himself on providing clear, concise and pragmatic advice to his clients, and working closely with those clients to achieve positive resolutions and outcomes.
