Reece has broad experience in litigation and dispute resolution across the state, federal, and appellate courts, primarily in the states of Victoria and New South Wales. He has particular expertise in the defence of complex commercial disputes, including matters with elements of misleading and deceptive conduct, breach of contract, breach of director duties, and other common areas of commercial litigation, including disputes relating to the application of the Corporations Act and debt recovery.
In addition, he has experience in other areas of dispute resolution including general insurance litigation, and recoveries on behalf of insurers, insured clients, and self-insured clients of the firm. He has been a trusted advisor of many insurer clients for highly complex recoveries and liability disputes. This includes matters relating to property damage, employee fidelity and fraud, and coverage and indemnity advice in respect of various policies relating to such matters.
