Olivia’s practice mostly consists of public liability, professional indemnity and property damage litigation across all New South Wales courts. She adopts a thorough, practical and commercial approach to litigated and pre-litigation disputes, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes for clients.
Olivia adeptly applies the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW), Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 (NSW) and other relevant frameworks to provide honest, strategic advice and to achieve early, commercial resolutions. She typically defends construction contractors, private schools, sporting clubs, cleaning contractors and host employers. Olivia also regularly defends strata corporations in property damage claims, and has acted for legal professionals, architects and accountants in professional negligence claims.
Olivia handles complex questions of policy interpretation, providing helpful and clear indemnity advice to her insurer clients. She has also managed large scale discovery in litigation, including the responsible collection of data and the review and analysis of voluminous material.
