Nicole is a senior legal practitioner and strategic negotiator with long standing client relationships and exceptional legal skills.

She has more than 20 years’ experience defending public liability/personal injury claims representing large self-insured corporates, general insurers and government entities, including local government.

Nicole has extensive experience with occupier’s liability, industrial accidents and public/product liability matters including the provision of indemnity advice. She has handled professional indemnity claims against real estate agents, Council building surveyors, engineers responsible for roadway design, and medical negligence claims by infants against maternal health professionals.

Nicole represents a number of major retailers on ‘slip and trip’ matters – as well as multiparty litigation involving contribution claims against contractors, centre management and other tortfeasors. These claims involve injuries to both customers and contractors, including claims involving hazardous manual handling, and labour hire situations where VWA recovery claims are also pursued.

Her injury claims experience spans numerous complex and catastrophic claims including quadriplegia and traumatic brain injuries as well as the full spectrum of orthopaedic and muscular injuries sustained in more straightforward slip and fall cases.

Nicole has represented clients in relation to fatalities and nervous shock matters, including Coronial Inquests, and represented one of five defendants in a class action resulting from a major disease outbreak.

Her proven ability to identify and resolve appropriate matters cost effectively and quickly, ensuring lower total claim cost, is highly valued by her clients.
