Naomi is an experienced insurance lawyer with a focus on professional indemnity, subrogated recoveries and property damage matters.
Having acted for insurers and underwriting agencies across Australia, Naomi has provided advice on strategies to address high volume portfolios of litigation and the application of and claims brought under the Insurance Contracts Act 1984 (Cth).
In addition to insurers, Naomi acts for sophisticated self-insured clients and has experience in commercial debt recovery. With an intricate knowledge of enforcement processes and procedures, she enjoys being able to see matters through to completion by pursuing successful enforcement proceedings after a judgment has been obtained.
In her professional indemnity practice, Naomi has acted for health practitioners, lawyers, real estate agents, architects and engineers in the resolution of liability disputes and disciplinary complaints. She frequently appears and has instructed counsel in matters in the State Administrative Tribunal, Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court in Western Australia and the Federal Court.
Naomi prides herself on her attention to detail and understanding the needs of her clients. She provides practical advice to achieve a cost-effective resolution of the dispute.
Naomi is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia, the Young Insurance Professionals Association and the Australian Insurance Law Association.
