She adeptly handles claims against these entities, leveraging her deep understanding of the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW). Mary has defended barristers in professional negligence claims and represented insurers in proceedings initiated under the Civil Liability (Third Party Claims Against Insurers) Act 2017 (NSW).
Mary provides strategic advice to insurers and skilfully defends catastrophic injury claims. She also manages recovery claims by insurers against third parties, offers nuanced guidance on policy construction and interpretation, and advocates for life insurance companies in policy claims by insureds across various life insurance products.
