Katryn is an experienced insurance litigator with a focus on personal injury and property claims, as well as product liability, workers’ claims and related statutory actions. She also has experience in advising clients in disciplinary matters on the conduct and performance of regulated/licensed professionals including veterinarians, as well as coronial investigations and inquests.
Katryn has worked with global and national insurers advising on complex public liability and property liability matters, as well as an extensive list of insured companies including manufacturers, warehouses, shopping centers, bars, restaurants and hotels. Katryn’s experience includes litigating public liability disputes in various jurisdictions including the Local, District and Supreme Courts of NSW, the Supreme Court of the ACT and Victoria, as well as NCAT.
Katryn approaches complex legal issues strategically and focuses on providing well-reasoned advice and commercial outcomes.
Prior to her career in law, Katryn completed her Bachelor of Music (Performance) from the University of Queensland. She was admitted to practice law in Queensland in December 2019.
