Since her admission in 2015, Kate has almost exclusively practiced in insurance law. Kate’s practice is focused on public liability, workers’ compensation/employers’ liability and industrial diseases (mainly dust diseases and long latency injury). She manages a busy, volume practice including multi-party litigation and is experienced in property damage claims and motor vehicle recovery work.
Kate’s additional qualification in Social Work is a substantial advantage in respect of her work handling claims involving workplace stress and highly sensitive matters such as sexual misconduct and abuse. She is also particularly adept in dealing with difficult and emotive claims relating to industrial diseases.
Kate works closely with the Perth team across all her practice areas to consistently deliver high level advice to her clients, who appreciate Kate’s open and friendly approach to legal practice.
Kate was recognised in Best Lawyers ‘Ones to Watch’ category for insurance law in 2023.
