Erica has a wealth of experience in handling claims for medical treatment liability including for hospitals, doctors and other individuals. Her experience includes catastrophic claims and matters of strategic importance. Having spent the early years of her career with a national plaintiff-side practice assists Erica in understanding all perspectives on a claim. Her comprehensive expertise ensures that her clients receive strategic, informed, and effective legal representation in all aspects of insurance and dispute resolution.
Erica has a Master of Laws in Health and Medical Law and a Master of Laws and has passed the New York Bar examination. She has served on a human research ethics committee for a tertiary hospital.
Erica also has considerable experience in liability claims and in claims for total and permanent disablement, income protection, and funeral cover claims.
Erica is an experienced dispute resolution lawyer and advocate, appearing on behalf of her insurer clients throughout all stages of litigation across multiple jurisdictions within Western Australia.
