Claudio is a professional indemnity lawyer specialising in defending litigation brought against medical professionals, solicitors & barristers, accountants and real estate agents as well as disciplinary investigations against medical and allied health professionals. He provides advice on and acts in all aspects of professional negligence claims, including defending civil claims and class actions. He has acted on a variety of professional negligence claims against lawyers, from claims against sole practitioners, to high-value, multi-party litigation against larger law firms and class-actions.
Claudio also has a casualty practice, in which he acts for insured and self-insured entities, which involves complicated litigation involving catastrophic injury. He has advised both local and international insurers as well as government departments. He also has experience in subrogated recovery claims.
With extensive experience in matters before the Federal Court of Australia, Supreme and District Courts of NSW and the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT), Claudio has developed a diligent and strategic approach to commercial litigation.
