Amanda is a senior litigation practitioner with over 20 years of experience across the areas of public liability, workers’ compensation, medical negligence, CTP and TPD. Her demonstrated experience in defendant and plaintiff work has landed her roles in both the private and public sectors.
Amanda has extensive experience working with several local and international insurers, local councils, unions and the State Government assisting with their public and product liability claims with a focus on injury liability. She managers a broad portfolio of claims including claims for catastrophic injuries, fatalities, and significant psychological injuries. Amanda has represented both the defendant and the plaintiff in these areas and has been able to bring to her practice a widespread experience and knowledge from both sides.
Her clients value her clear advice, ability to communicate and her attitude with regards to negotiation.
In addition to her practice with Gilchrist Connell, Amanda sits on the Northern NSW Human Research Ethics Committee.
