Gilchrist Connell accredited with key information security ISO certification

Leading Australian insurance sector law firm, Gilchrist Connell, has been accredited with its inaugural ISO 27001:2013 certificate.

ISO 27001 is a globally recognised standard for information security.  Gilchrist Connell’s policies, procedures and other controls involving people, processes and technology were externally audited by Best Practice Certification to meet this certification.

Recent events have highlighted why informational security is a major risk that need to be addressed by businesses and taken seriously. Businesses are facing increasing scrutiny and interrogation around their data and information security practices. To demonstrate our commitment to addressing this risk, we’re pleased to have been signed off by Best Practice Certification.
