Our teams across Australia got together for Wear It Purple Day on 26th August 2022 in support of fairness and rights for LGBTQIA+ people, learning and celebration. MATE Director Shaan Ross-Smith (she/her) and MATE Facilitator Hayley MacDonald hosted our LGBTQIA+ Inclusion and Cultural Change Training through the MATE Bystander Program. It was such an honour to learn and discuss ways we can empower each other to think more critically and sensitively about supporting gender diversity.
